Humanitarian Relief for Gaza: Providing Vital Daily Supplies for Families
Although a ceasefire was announced in October 2025, the violence continues. According to the United Nations, over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire entered into force and millions are struggling to survive a humanitarian catastrophe. Millions of Gazans still lack safety, shelter, clean water, and healthcare, and the United Nations Emergency Relief Coordinator has called Gaza the "most dangerous" place on earth to deliver aid.
Since August 2024, Peace Boat has been raising funds both in Japan and onboard our global voyages to support the supply of fresh vegetables and other vital supplies to people living in unacceptably inhumane conditions in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. These communities lack even the very basic amount of food needed to survive and are suffering under constant attacks.

In June 2026, Peace Boat again cooperated with our partners in Palestine to provide packages to 240 households in and near Gaza's Khan Younis, containing vital staple items such as olive oil, rice, sugar, eggs and more. This distribution was coordinated by the local NGO “Youth Without Borders” and our long-term Jerusalem-based partner, Palestinian Vision. The prices of such items have reportedly recently quintupled in Gaza, making such aid even more important.
Youth Without Borders is an NGO founded by Palestinian youth in 2002 and based in Khan Younis in the southern part of Gaza. Since its establishment, Youth Without Borders has been working with various international NGOs and European governments on projects to provide vocational training, capacity development and social participation to young people.
Peace Boat will continue to make efforts to provide humanitarian support for people living in inhumane conditions in Gaza, as well as to speak out for an immediate end to the genocide and adherence of international law.
