[Gaza Event in Tokyo] Ceasefire and Let Food In, Now!

Sep 29, 2025

Two years have passed since the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, Palestine began.

As NGOs and citizens in solidarity with Palestine in Japan, we once again call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire to protect people’s lives, unconditional release of hostages and detainees, lifting of the blockade, and end of the occupation. And together with people who care, we will light a light and show it to the world.

On October 4, we will hold a NGO debriefing session at St. Andrew's Church in Tokyo to share the voices of the people on the ground. Afterwards, we will move to the precincts of Zojoji Temple to hold a candlelight vigil in memory of the victims and in hope for a ceasefire.

We also hope that you will light a candle at your hand from across the country at the same time of our event and post and share it with your photos with the tags #停戦を食料を今すぐに and #Gaza on SNS.
