Peace Boat's message regarding the tragic attacks in Sri Lanka on April 21.

Peace Boat joins more than 100 organisations from 35 countries around the world to take action as part of the Global Campaign on Military Spending (GCOMS) in April 2019.

Peace Boat Disaster Relief Volunteer Centre (PBV) has dispatched an advanced team to Mozambique, which was particularly affected by Cyclone Idai, to conduct a rapid assessment and commence emergency relief operations.

The Peace Boat Disaster Relief Volunteer Center (PBV) will dispatch several staff to Mozambique, which was particularly affected by this disaster, to conduct an assessment of the local situation and needs and implement emergency relief following Cyclone Idai.

This summer, “Akiko's A-bombed piano” will be travelling onboard Peace Boat from Hiroshima, and concerts will be organized in the ports visited throughout the East Asia Voyage.

A Peace Boat delegation took part at this event from April 1-3. 

Peace Boat's ship, the Ocean Dream, will visit New York on June 7-8, 2019 (Fri-Sat) as part of its 101st Global Voyage, coinciding with World Oceans Day.

On February 26, Peace Boat called at the port of Valparaíso, in Chile. Within the activities of the 'Voyage of Light', Litro de Luz Chile organized an event about renewable and sustainable energy joined by dozens of people.

The "Global Voyage for a Nuclear-Free World: Peace Boat Hibakusha Project" was held onboard the 100th Voyage, between December 26, 2018 - March 31, 2019, with the theme “From Banning to Abolishing Nuclear Weapons with the Power of Civil Society.” Ms. Watanabe Junko, a survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima who now lives in Brazil, joined the ship when it docked in Rio de Janeiro in February. 

During the 100th Global Voyage, seven young activist-scholars participated in an experiential study programme organized by Peace Boat US called “Peace Education and the SDGs in South America,” from Ushuaia, Argentina to Valparaiso, Chile.
