Summer Voyage Around Japan

Peace Boat will conduct a voyage around Japan in the summer of 2023, departing from Tokyo and travelling north first to Tohoku and Hokkaido. The ship will travel to Ishinomaki, where the natural beauty of Minami Sanriku unfolds and where Peace Boat's disaster relief and recovery efforts were based following the devastating earthquake and tsunami of 2011. From there the voyage will travel to the northern island of Hokkaido, the ancient capital of Kanazawa, and Hakata, the largest tourist city in the island of Kyushu. Next the itinerary takes us to Korea's second largest city Busan, then to Naha in Okinawa, before returning once again to Tokyo.
