Peace Boat's 90th Global Voyage departed from Yokohama on 17 December 2015, and returned to Japan on 30 March 2016, sailing for 105 days around the world. This voyage covered a southern hemisphere route, visiting Madagascar, South Africa, the Rio Carnival and the incredible nature of Patagonia in South America. It also visited Okinawa, the Maldives, Rapa Nui, Tahiti, and the Marshall Islands to learn about the issues faced by the people of these islands.
