Marking the milestone of the 100th Global Voyage, the Voyage of Light is a partnership with Liter of Light to bring solar lights around the world on Peace Boat and spread awareness about SDG 7 and energy poverty.

Liter of Light instructors taught Peace Boat participants on board how to make sustainable solar lights and the finished products are delivered to communities accessible from the ports where Peace Boat’s vessel docks. In addition to the donations, solar lamp building workshops are conducted in the communities visited to foster capacity building.
