Global University programmes are intensive, advanced, peace and sustainability programmes which challenge participants to confront regional and global issues through workshops, seminars, and in-port exposure programmes. Using the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a central focus, are structured in thematic units that vary according to the itinerary of the ship and voyage.
Programmes are conducted in both Japanese and English. University partners for these programmes include the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and the University of Tokyo in Japan, the China Foreign Affairs University, and Hanshin University and Kyung Hee University in South Korea.
