Background and Project Overview

Peace Boat will organise an onboard project "Multiethnic State-Building in Asia: Nurturing Leaders of the Next Generation" between 4 and 12 October 2014 onboard Peace Boat on its 84th Global Voyage. In this project, 25 young Asian participants engaged in community-level initiatives will travel from Sri Lanka to Cambodia, exchanging their practices and discussing collaborative initiatives on multiethnic state-building in the region.

The programme will be a combination of onboard lectures and workshops, as well as field visits in three ports of call (Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Cambodia). All programmes will be offered in English.
