Peace Boat offers a great opportunity for those people with language skills to further develop their capacity while contributing to the strengthening of global civil society. Each voyage, Peace Boat recruits volunteer interpreters and language teachers to support its programmes onboard. |

ENGLISH
LANGUAGE TEACHERS — GET, Peace Boat's language training programme, is now accepting applications for English language instructors for the 73rd Global Voyage, which departs on April 24th, 2011 and returns on July 12th, 2011. The deadline for applications is Friday January 7th, 2011. Interviews are scheduled to be held in Tokyo on January 28th, 29th and 30th (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), 2011. Telephone interviews for overseas applicants will be held shortly thereafter. (Interview dates are subject to change.)

— El programa de GET esta acceptando solicitudes para la posicion de profesor(a) voluntario(a) de español para nuestro viaje mundial 72º que sale el de 23 de enero del 2011 y regresa el 18 de abril del 2011. La fecha límite para recibir las solicitudes es el viernes 15 de octubre del 2010. Las entrevistas serán realizadas en Tokio los días 5, 6 y 7 de noviembre (viernes, sabado y domingo) del 2010. Las entrevistas internacionales serán a partir de entonces. (Las fechas de las entrevistas están sujetas a cambios).

Study Japanese & circumnavigate the globe – a once-in-a-lifetime study opportunity!
Peace Boat is now inviting students enrolled at universities around the globe who are highly motivated to study Japanese, communication ability and intercultural understanding, to apply. Peace Boat addresses are invited onboard as guest educators.
In port, Peace Boat organises its activities in partnership
with a wide range of institutions, including NGOs, civil
society groups, student groups and volunteer organisations. |
